Winterfest Festivities start at 7am with the beginning of the Perch Fishing Contest then the Chili Cookoff, kicks off at Noon at Boonedocks in Glen Arbor.
On the 4th – the Flag raising ceremony at Old Settlers Park at 10am sharp, to the Parade downtown Glen Arbor beginning at 12pm in Glen Haven then making it’s way through to the North/East end of town. If you’re a boater, you can join in on the boat parade 4th of July evening on Glen Lake beginning at 4pm in front of the Yacht Club.
The local community and visitors are invited to enjoy this celebration of fall, one of our favorite seasons in Leelanau.
