The Dune Climb Inn, located adjacent to the Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore, is seeking a part-time Assistant General Manager (AGM) with a warm, welcoming smile and an eye for cleanliness and
organization. If you enjoy working in a natural setting, being part of a dedicated team, are detail oriented
and enjoy welcoming guests to our wonderful destination, this is a great opportunity to join us! The AGM
will report to the Hotel General Manager.

Duties and Responsibilities:

• Serve as onsite manager of guest relationships and experiences including, but not limited to check-
  in/check-out, and special requests.
• Verify rooms are clean and ready for incoming guests, working with a small cleaning staff, and inspecting
  rooms.
• Manage the property via a state-of-the-art property management system. Respond to phone calls, emails
  and texts from guests and potential guests during the hours of operation.
• Maintain safe, clean, and attractive grounds.
• Requires ability to lift and move up to 50 lbs., as well as the physical exertion needed to perform very
  limited housekeeping.
• Manage the inventory of laundry, sheets, towels and supplies.
• Ensure property rules are followed.

Preferred Qualifications:

• High level of integrity.
• Ability to prioritize demands of the job.
• Superior people and problem-solving skills. Excellent and clear communication skills are a must.
• Computer Skills including the CloudBeds property management software.
• Strong work ethic, and well groomed.
• Impeccable attention to detail.

Work Schedule:
Office hours are roughly 10am-6pm,
guest check-in time is 3pm-6pm.
The AGM is needed one weekend day each week -- usually Friday or Saturday to assist the Hotel General
Manager with check-ins.

The AGM may be needed one full weekend per month.

The AGM will be on call overnight on the days they work and will often need to respond to text messages
from guests. Accordingly, we allow the AGM to work less than the standard 8 hours on property to make up for the time taken in the evening.

There is some flexibility on the days worked and the Hotel General Manager can adjust their schedule to
make it work for both managers. Let us know what works best and we will try to accommodate you.
