Leelanau County artist Dana Falconberry exhibits Native Plants, a group of painted and stitched canvases, in the Glen Arbor Arts Center Lobby Gallery. This small show runs May 3 – August 29. Falconberry — a musician, printmaker, painter and more — has been, in the last few years, creating textile works that combine hand-painted imagery


Outdoor Gallery Exhibit: Margo Burian + Ordinary Magic

Leelanau County artist Margo Burian’s collages have been chosen for display in the Glen Arbor Arts Center’s 2024-25 Outdoor Gallery exhibition, an annual, invitational exhibit. Burian’s collages are rooted in the idea of Ordinary Magic, or delight. They were reproduced on five, 5-foot-square, weather-resistant aluminum panels created by Image 360 of Traverse City, Michigan. The

Pete Farmer, founder and owner of Farmer Foot Drums, brings his menagerie of hand- and foot-operated percussion instruments and music to the Glen Arbor Arts Center, May 11, for a family-friendly program. This concert of interactive songs begins at 11 am. The program is free. No registration is required. Children must be accompanied by adults.
