Pumpkin Fest 2016

Join us for the Inaugural pet family friendly Pumpkin Fest on October 22nd from 1-6pm!

This celebration of fall will take place downtown Glen Arbor all afternoon, giving participants time to carve their artistic creations, enjoy family friendly activities and contests, followed by a Pumpkin lighting at dusk and a community Dinner.

From 1-6pm Pumpkins will be provided to carve your masterpieces ~ Free and Open to Children of all ages 🙂 Pumpkins will be placed along M22 and there will be a Grand Lighting at 6:30.

The fun begins with a Costume Parade for Kids and Pets at 1:30pm. From 2 to 5 There will be live music performed by Jack Pine. There will be lots of  fun, family-friendly activities such as face painting by The Painted Lady from 2-4pm, games & prizes at 2, and again at 4, with a pie eating contest at 3pm. The pumpkins will be lit just before sunset at 6:30pm for the event grand finale. Need refreshments?  There will be a  Beer Garden outside  Art’s Tavern.

While you’re in town, make sure to shop at our small businesses and eat at the local establishments. Also happening the same day at Anderson’s Market in Glen Arbor is their annual Harvest Fest, right on site. With food and wine tastings, face painting and a brat cookout, there’s plenty of reasons to be in Glen Arbor October 22nd!

Pumpkin Carving is FREE to participate ~ Open to kids of all ages. Donations Accepted. The Community Dinner is $10 for Adults and $5 for Kids 12 and Under.
