Old Settlers Park for your up north wedding!
There’s more and more reasons why our area is an amazing place to host your Up North Michigan wedding. Leelanau Peninsula and our greater Glen Lake area offers tons of variety in settings for ceremony’s and receptions. From wild flower fields to a lake Michigan resort, you’re sure to find just the place you seek.
Old Settlers Park is a little treasure preserved in our area, hosting annual 4th of July events to weddings. It’s quaintly located on the southeastern shore of Glen Lake, on S. Dunns Farm Road (County Road 675). Early settlers’ established it as a picnic ground in 1892 with access to Glen Lake.
The chapel located on the grounds of the park is available for use and is coordinated and maintained by the Glen Lake Woman’s Club on a first come, first serve basis, as well as the Gazebo.
Dates available: May 15th – October 31st. Capacity 50-70.
