Leelanau Energy members are a diverse group of farmers, engineers, economists, scientists, teachers, attorneys, public administrators, and energy experts – all coming together to educate and advocate for renewable energy on the Leelanau peninsula.
OUR MISSION AND GOAL: To transform the Leelanau Peninsula into a community 100 percent powered by clean, renewable energy sources.
WHAT WE DO: – Implement energy conservation and efficiency – Conceive, support and promote community green projects – Advise and advocate for progressive renewable energy policy – Inform and educate individuals, households and communities.
