Over 1,300 photos and stories were submitted for the crowd-sourced book, Picture-Perfect Sleeping Bear. The book was so well received by our members and the public, Friends of Sleeping Bear Dunes is reaching out ask the public to share more stories and photos of current experiences at Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

While you are out and about in the National Lakeshore enjoying the sights, sounds, and activities around the Park and taking photos and videos, consider sharing what you saw, experienced, or did. The Friends would love to collect and share these with others who love or long to visit our beautiful shoreline.

With your permission, you could see your images, videos and stories from the park week-to-week on our social media, website, and monthly newsletter. Requirement for photos is a minimum of 300×300 pixels.

Interested in submitting content? Send stories and photos (with a minimum image size to 1000×1000 pixels) to [email protected] Please also try to send with a subject line that describes the photos and stories you submit to help us quickly organize them for use.
