Celebrate Independence Day with a family friendly, musical evening as part of the 2018 Manitou Music Festival season on Tuesday, July 3, at 7pm on the Old School lawn in downtown Glen Arbor.

"Remember, Appreciate, Celebrate." Celebrate the founding of our nation in a patriotic, joyous ceremony with community members of all ages. The Flag Raising will be performed by VFW Post 2780 and American Legion Post 33 followed by an invocation by Pastor Dockery. Jerry Pearson will share thoughtful comments about the Declaration of Independence, titled
Head on down to Glen Arbor and shop/dine – most places are open for at least half the day for visitors. Grab a spot and enjoy the big 4th of July Parade downtown Glen Arbor, beginning at 12pm. The parade leaves from Glen Haven then makes it’s way through to the North/East end of town. This years parade Marshal is Bonnie Quick.
4th of July Boat Parade Join the community for some fun in the sun, on the water! All boats welcome on Glen Lake. The more the merrier. Decorations encouraged but not required!
