Patriotic Music with the Nortport Community Band

The Northport Community Band kicks off the Glen Arbor Art Association’s 2017 Manitou Music Festival season on Monday, July 3, 7 p.m. with a musical evening celebrating Independence Day. This concert of patriotic and march favorites takes place on the Old School House lawn located in Glen Arbor on M-22 directly across from the Glen Arbor Township Hall.

Founded in 1959, the Northport Community Band has developed a repertoire of familiar overtures, marches, light classics and popular favorites. Bring a lawn chair, friends and family. There is no charge. In the event of rain, the concert will take place at the Leelanau School auditorium.
