Pastel Painting Demonstration

Pastel painter Amy Gamble will demonstrate her technique and tools on Sunday, July 30, 1 p.m. at Center Gallery, 6023 S. Lake Street, Glen Arbor. The demonstration, in conjunction with her Center Gallery exhibition, is open to the public.

Gamble, a resident of Beverly Hills, Michigan, creates and tends gardens for her southeastern Michigan clients during the summer. The rest of the year, she channels the shape, line and color of this vegetation into pastel paintings that celebrate the landscape and nature’s many details. She approaches her landscape painting as a full-sensory experience fueled by her working environment. Gamble’s work remains on view at Center Gallery until August 3.
