Anchor Days In Empire

Day of celebration to commemorate the raising of the anchor from the depths of Lake Michigan in July of 1977. This anchor is currently located at the Empire Beach.

• Festivities begin on July 14th with movie at the Empire Town hall about the rising of the anchor at 7pm

• Parade at Noon on July 15th

• Street dance on Front Street in front of the Glen Lake Community Library from 8-11pm
