Local filmmaker James Weston Schaberg will present his 2023 documentary film Eye of the Wind, a stunning presentation of aerial photography. The film demonstrates the art of quietly capturing bird’s-eye views without noisy drones or burning fossil fuels, offering unique perspectives on the landscapes of Leelanau County and other locations.
Artist and educator Penny Krebiehl will lead this guided journal and drawing workshop, gathering at the library before heading outdoors. Participants should dress for outdoor weather, and bring their own drawing supplies (notebooks, pens, pencils, etc). The group will then meet back at the library to share their work. All ages are welcome.
