11th Annual Glen Arbor Women's Club Running Bear 5K Run/Walk & 1/2 Mile Kid's Run. Staged at Cherry Republic in Glen Arbor, runners compete in 10 different age categories from 10 & under to 80+. 1st and 2nd place metals and prizes awarded in each category from Cherry Republic, Crystal River Outfitters and the Cyclery.
On the 4th – the Flag raising ceremony at Old Settlers Park at 10am sharp, to the Parade downtown Glen Arbor beginning at 12pm in Glen Haven then making it’s way through to the North/East end of town. If you’re a boater, you can join in on the boat parade 4th of July evening on Glen Lake beginning at 4pm in front of the Yacht Club.
Winterfest Festivities start at 7am with the beginning of the Perch Fishing Contest then the Chili Cookoff, kicks off at Noon at Boonedocks in Glen Arbor.
