Annual President's Day Weekend Event, the 2015 Glen Arbor Winterfest falls on Valentines Day. The community events Include a perch fishing contest with awards at the Sportsman Shop, followed by our beloved Chili Cook-off!
Glen Arbor's annual mid-winter event begins 7am Saturday morning with Perch Fishing on the Glen Lakes, followed by the Contest & Awards plus a Chili-Cook off beginning at Noon at Boonedocks in Glen Arbor. Hosted by Art's Tavern, Boonedocks, The Sportsman Shop & the Glen Lake Chamber of Commerce.
Join us for the annual Glen Lake Winterfest, Presidents Day Weekend: Saturday, February 16th, 2019! Festivities include a Perch Fishing/Contest + Chili Cook-Off. Perch Fishing Contest Festivities start at 7am with the beginning of the Perch Fishing Contest, with prizes for 1st through 4th place catches. All participants will bring their biggest catches from Big and Little Glen Lake to the Sportsman Shop at 1pm, and winners will then be crowned.
This year's Glen Lake Winter Fest has been revamped in light of the event's popularity and social distancing/covid-19 precautions. The Chili Cook-off fundraiser will take place at locations in both Glen Arbor & Empire, President's Day/Valentine weekend: February 13th & 14th, 2021. The Glen Lake Chili Cook-off, an annually anticipated mid-winter event, is back to its original format this year! Saturday, February 19th from noon- 3pm, on the deck of Boonedocks in Glen Arbor. Winners will be crowned as the event wraps up around 3pm. Proceeds from this event are given out on senior scholarship night at
