Stan Brubaker’s Celebrate America – 4th of July Parade

Celebrate America on the 4th of July with parade floats and vintage cars, as they parade from Glen Haven to Glen Arbor.

The 4th of July parade starts at 12-noon.

Anyone is welcome to participate. No registration is required. 

The children and grandchildren of Stan express appreciation to Glen Arbor for honoring America on this special day! The lineup is organized by volunteers. Vehicles are welcome to join the parade, please arrive in Glen Haven around 11am to begin lineup. If you’re a walker joining the parade, please enter the parade closer to town, via Forest Haven Rd. Please do not enter the parade until the last vehicle passes.

Please contact the Township office at (231)334-3539 if you can help with the “broom crew.”  More helpers are needed. Extra effort is made to help parents keep their children safe by sweeping candy that doesn’t reach the curb. Flagging tape linking orange cones emphasize the boundary for parents and their children. Water balloons and squirt guns are prohibited, and we ask you to spread the word to all our spectators. Don and Annette Lewis are coordinating the “broom crew” along Western Avenue.
