Painting Demonstration: Neil Walling

Suttons Bay artist Neil Walling will conduct a painting demonstration on Saturday, July 30, 1 p.m. at Center Gallery, 6023 S. Lake St., Glen Arbor. The demonstration is part of Walling’s exhibition of new watercolor and oil paintings about Leelanau County

Walling’s life-long affection for the region has moved him to study many of the familiar Leelanau County scenes in search of something fresh to depict. The artist works primarily in one sitting, en plein air, which is an immediate, time-sensitive approach to outdoor painting.
