Art educator Linda Young leads a conversational gallery talk about work displayed in the Glen Arbor Arts Center’s exhibition agriCULTURE: Barnyards and Farmscapes on Sunday, October 7, 2 pm in the GAAC gallery. This gallery event is free and open to the public.

agriCULTURE is a juried exhibition of 2D and 3D work that zeros in on the lore and culture of barnyards and farmstead life. In addition to the work displayed in the gallery, agriCULTURE’s themes are further explored through a series of companion programs. Young, a retired Museum Educator with the Kalamazoo Institute of Art, will talk about the exhibited work in a casual atmosphere with an opportunity for questions.

On display through November 1, agriCULTURE is supported in part by the Michigan Humanities Council and the National Endowment for the Humanities. More details about agriCULTURE’s programs and event can be found at GlenArborArt.org. Click on “Events.” The GAAC is located at 6031 S. Lake St., Glen Arbor.
