Chili Cook-Off + Perch Fishing Contest

The annual Chili Cook-Off is slated to take place on Saturday, February 15, 2025, from noon to 2:30 p.m. (if enough participants offer their delicious chilis!) on the deck at Boonedocks in Glen Arbor. This fan-favorite event promises a flavorful showdown and celebration of winter in Northern Michigan! Dress for the weather.
Admission to the chili cook-off is $15 per person, ages 6 and up. The cost of admission includes all the chili samples! Kids under 6 enter for free.
Perch Fishing Contest
Weather conditions are good this year for ice fishing! Captain Bob will be hosting the annual Perch Fishing contest with sign-up at The Sportsman Shop from 6:30 – 7 am. Fishing on the Big and Little Glen Perch ONLY. $30 Entry Fee which includes entry to chili cook-off. 100% payout to winners. Weigh in will take place at Sportsman Shop at 1 pm SHARP.

There may still be room for additional contenders to join the chili frenzy. Whether you’re a seasoned chili chef or a first-timer, consider entering your chili as a family, business, or group of friends. It’s a fantastic way to showcase your skills and support a good cause.
