A Four Seasons View: New Paintings by Margie Guyot

Ellsworth painter Margie Guyot exhibits a four-seasons view of northern Michigan at Center Gallery, 6023 S. Lake St., Glen Arbor. The show opens Aug. 21, 6 p.m. with a reception.

Guyot paints en plein air year-round. Her subjects are equally as diverse: coastlines, rolling hills, roads and farmsteads – anything that the painter feels “looks amazing.” Guyot will demonstrate her approach and technique during a painting demonstration Aug. 23, 1 p.m. at Center Gallery. The demonstration is open to the public. Guyot’s exhibition continues until Sept. 3.
