Flag Raising Ceremony

The Flag raising ceremony takes place at 10am in Old Settlers Park (located on the corner of Dunns Farm Road and Burdickville Road – CR 616). Organized by Glen Lake Women’s Club, the ceremony begins at 10 am, typically with an Invocation by a Pastor Flag Raising is presented by a local Boy Scout Troop, paired with patriotic songs performed by Summer Singers. Cookies and lemonade for everyone and Children to receive US Flags!

For her 11th consecutive solo show at Center Gallery in Glen Arbor, Maple City painter Margo Burian breaks with her tradition of landscape painting, and for the first time shows a group of mixed media abstracted paintings on panel.
