DESCRIPTION:The Glen Arbor Arts Center is keeping the lights on a little longer on Friday nights. Late Night Fridays brings the B-Side Growlers to the GAAC Front Porch on July 7\, 5 pm. This “tradition-inspired\, toe-tapping fired” acoustic trio from Grand Rapids plays a plein air concert of blues\, jazz and country. Bring a chair.\nBoth GAAC galleries are open 5 – 8 pm that night. In the GAAC Main Gallery is the 2023 Members Create\, an exhibition of work by 49 GAAC members. In the Lobby Gallery: The Birds Are Watching\, mixed media constructions by Jessica Kovan. SUMMARY:4TH OF JULY BOAT PARADE on Glen Lake
DESCRIPTION:The 2023 version of the Annual 4th of July Boat Parade is a go! No need to register or RSVP – just show up. Meet on the water at 3 pm in front of Glen Lake Yacht Club and head towards the Narrows. We’ll go under the bridge and out towards the boat ramp\, then head back under the bridge. After that\, it’s anyone’s guess. Those who want to keep the parade going can circle the lake. Boat decorations are optional but highly encouraged\, so get that red\, white\, and blue swag out!
