This year the Friends have an extraordinary selection of beautiful coffee table books.  \nFriday\, August 9\, 9 am-3 pm | Bag Day ~ Free Admission \nThis last half day offers the best bargains. Fill a standard grocery bag full of books and pay just $5. \nFunds raised by the Friends contribute to ongoing programs\, such as the preschool children’s “Stories and More\,” general and special collections\, as well as future capital needs of the Glen Lake Community Library. This year the Friends have underwritten the purchase of scores of DVDs to replace popular VHS tapes as well as upgrades from Cassettes to CDs for many Audio Books.
