DESCRIPTION:Join us for our first Log Cabin Day in Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore!\nStep inside five of the six log cabins in the Park on Michigan Log Cabin Day! \nPreserve Historic Sleeping Bear has repaired most of these historic structures over the years and we want to share these amazing structures and their stories with you. \nInterpreters and/or storyboards will be at each of the log cabins. Some demonstrations of traditional building will take place. Allow enough time to get from the north end to the south end of the park. \nPick up your free Log Cabin Day card at any of the sites and start exploring! Get your card stamped at 4 of the 5 sites to receive your free 50th Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore sticker. Get your card stamped at all five sites and you will be entered into a drawing of other prizes including Maple Syrup. \nWhen you visit\, receive your coupon for a 10% discount on log cabin related books at the Cottage Book Shop in Glen Arbor!
