DESCRIPTION:Dennis O’Mara\, the Glen Arbor Art Association artist-in-residence (AIR) May 18-31\, talks about his two-week stay Thursday\, May 29\, 7:30 p.m. at the GAAA\, 6031 S. Lake St.\, Glen Arbor. \n  \nO’Mara\, a Hastings\, Michigan\, resident\, works in many media – from pastel to oil\, linoleum cut to cast paper – and is at work on a series of 2-D images that explore “The End of Print” news media. During his AIR residency he made plein air sketches of the locality and its residents. These sketches will be finished at his home studio and incorporated into the series. O’Mara teaches art appreciation at Kellogg Community College. \n  \nAIR presentations are open to the public. For more information\, please call 213/334-6112.
