SUMMARY:Creative Wellness - Exploring Grief Through Creativity
DESCRIPTION:Creative Wellness – Exploring Grief Through Creativity \nHow can a creative practice help one navigate the grief that accompanies the death of a loved one? This topic is explored during Exploring Grief Through Creativity\, the third in a series of retreats hosted by the Glen Arbor Arts Center and focused on increasing wellness through a creative practice. This retreat takes place on Saturday\, March 9\, 2024\, from 9 am – 5 pm at Pine Street Studios\, next door to GAAC in Glen Arbor. The cost is $175 and includes all materials. No art experience necessary. Pre-registration is required as space is limited to 12 participants. The retreat is open to adults ages 26 and older. \nExploring Grief through Creativity provides a supportive\, creative space for adults to examine and process their experience of the death of a loved one. This full-day retreat includes facilitation by a licensed therapist and a day of creative workshops led by teaching artists.
