DESCRIPTION:Personal Power Tools \nKaren Anderson returns to the GAAC to explore how the arts give us tools for expressing our power in “Personal Power Tools” October 14\, 10 am – noon. In this workshop\, students will engage in discussion and visit the “Power Tools” exhibition to discover how it enlarges one’s vision of personal power. DESCRIPTION:Glen Arbor Pumpkin Festival\nNOTICE: this event has been cancelled due to covid with the plan to resume in 2021\nSaturday\, October 24th\, 2020 | 12 – 3pm\nA fun\, family friendly celebration of fall\, the 4th Saturday in October. Held outdoors at the Glen Arbor Township Park\, located at the corner of  M-22 & State Street with a rain location at the Glen Arbor Town Hall. \nThe event takes place from 12 – 3pm and includes festive activities take for kids of all ages include games\, a pie eating contest\, halloween costume contest\, cake walk\, crafts and of course…pumpkin carving! There will be live music and refreshments/food available for purchase. Pumpkins will be put on display and lit at 6pm\, for all to enjoy. Participants may return Saturday evening or early on Sunday to pickup their pumpkins. Open to the public. Entry: $5 suggested donation \nLike\, Follow & Share the Event on Facebook  \nFestive Schedule\n12 – 3pm | Activities & Games\, Pie Eating Contest\, Pumpkin Carving\, Games & Crafts and a Cake Walk. \nMusical entertainment will be performed by __TBD__ \n12:30pm | Costume Parade ~ open to kids of all ages with prizes awarded for a variety of categories.  \nIn addition\, there will be Face Painting offered by The Painted Lady Face Art and carving demonstrations by Lord of the Gourd.
