DESCRIPTION:COME RUN FOR THE FARMS and barns at our 8th Annual run/walk fundraiser! Proceeds help preserve over 200 historic buildings and landscapes of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.\nChoose between the Farmers Flat and Fast 4 mile\, Homesteaders Hillier 5K\, and Tiller’s 10K!\nEach course winds through the beautiful scenery of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore’s Port Oneida Rural Historic District 3 miles north of Glen Arbor. With its historic farms and barns\, Port Oneida is hailed as “one of the most prized historic landscapes in the country”! Afterwards\, take a swim on the beautiful beaches down the road! Proud to be part of the Traverse City Track Club 2017 Grand Prix Series. \nEnjoy chip timing\, station hydration\, unique awards and great edibles! This is a fun community event that draws serious runners\, AND those casual runners\, walkers and families. Enjoy the park – Families can find a place on the lawn to spread a blanket and enjoy the post-celebration activities. \nAge categories – Awards for overall male and female winners plus top 3 winners in 8 age groups!  12 and under; 13-19\,20-29\, 30-39\, 40-49\,50-59\, 60-69\, 70+ \nRegistration – Adults $30 by August 3rd. \nFor details and registration.
