SUMMARY:Old Friends\, A Simon & Garfunkel Tribute Show
DESCRIPTION:Old Friends is a stunning recreation of Simon & Garfunkel’s 1981 Concert in Central Park. Simon & Garfunkel’s Concert in Central Park was one of the largest and most beloved concerts of all time. Although it was attended by over 500\,000 people\, most of us didn’t have the opportunity to attend this amazing show. This upbeat 90 minute show will take the audience back in time to that cool September night in New York City when Paul Simon and Art Garfunkel reunited for a free concert. \nMrs. Robinson\, Homeward Bound\, Bridge Over Troubled Water\, The Boxer\, Scarborough Fair\, The Sounds of Silence…these are just a few of the featured songs that have made Simon & Garfunkel one of the most successful and beloved artists of all time. \nNick Foresman and Jason Elsenheimer recreate this awe inspiring show with attention to every detail. They pay ultimate homage to this amazing American duo and stays true to the beauty of their timeless songs. Complete with a full 8 piece backup band\, Nick and Jason’s warm blending harmonies and crisp guitar work recreate the sound\, look and feel of this legendary duo in their most famous performance ever. Remember the songs\, remember the harmonies\, remember the mood and the magic… \nA free will offering will be taken to benefit Glen Lake Young Life\, Empire Food Pantry\, and Neighbors Helping Neighbors.

DESCRIPTION:Sunday\, April 7\, 2019 from 11:30 AM–2:00 PM and 2:30–5:00 PM\nAt: The Park Place Hotel\n300 East State Street\, Traverse City\, MI 49684 \nAdmission: $20 Adults\, $11 12-yrs-old and under* \n*No additional ticketing fees. \nA DECADE means a lot of things in our lives. In Traverse City in 2019\, it means 10 YEARS OF CHOCOLATE!! It’s fun to change things up “every now and then.” This anniversary of the largest chocolate festival in Michigan is no exception. The most exciting change is that the Festival has a new venue – the Grandview Conference rooms at the Park Place Hotel. It also means that there will be a new layout\, on-line ticketing\, great parking\, and a celebration of the history of chocolate in Traverse City. \nWhat is the same? It brings together under one roof the largest assemblage of chocolatiers from around the state and the region. It is a great weekend get-away or Sunday diversion. And it is still raising awareness for\nthe Northwest Food Coalition. What other surprises are in store? Stay connected through Face Book or the web site and see. Tickets are on sale now\, through the web site. Tickets available in advance or at the door.\nPurchasing tickets early is recommended\, as the event has been a sell-out. Gift idea: treat a friend for Easter or Mother’s Day\, or just because. Be able to say: “We were there for the 10th Anniversary!” \nThe Northwest Food Coalition serves over 60 food pantries\, meal sites and baby pantries in Antrim\, Benzie\, Grand Traverse\, Kalkaska\, Leelanau & Wexford counties. \nFor Information\, contact: Barbara Disborough\, “The Chocolate Lady” Chocolate Lady Productions\, LLC\nEmail: chocolady@aye.net  231-421-5562 \nwww.TCChocolateFestival.com\nhttps://www.facebook.com/TCChocolateFestival
