SUMMARY:The Omena Garden Walk 2022 to benefit the Omena Village Preservation Association (OVPA)
DESCRIPTION:The Omena Village Preservation Association (OVPA) invites you to join other garden lovers as they 0visit and enjoy The Omena Garden Tour 2022. It will be held in our charming village of Omena\, located amidst the spectacular woods\, cherry orchards\, farmlands\, and sparkling waters of Leelanau County on the “pinky” of Michigan. In 2017\, Omena was designated as a Historic District and was listed on the National Register of Historic Places by the U.S. Department of the interior. Among those buildings so designated\, two properties are owned by OVPA: the Omena Post Office and the historic Anderson House. OVPA honors the history and value of these buildings as it strives to keep them in good condition. Established in 2002\, OVPA is celebrating its 20th Anniversary this summer with this incredible Omena Garden Walk 2022. Tour eight (8) unique Omena gardens which include the private gardens of Omena residents. Waterfalls and ponds; arbors and pergolas; terracing and hardscaping; evergreen borders\, and extensive arrays of perennials — all this and more awaits you. Come find the next idea or inspiration for your own green space while celebrating the 20TH ANNIVERSARY of OVPA. \nThe Omena Garden Walk 2022 will take place on Thursday June 30\, 2022 from 11am to 4pm. It is a Rain or Shine Event with no other alternate date.
