SUMMARY:Artists Invitational and Virtual Auction
DESCRIPTION:Please join us for something new and different during this unusual summer. \nThis August\, 55 artists will participate in a special\, invitation-only event for the Glen Arbor Arts Center. \nOn August 1 and August 2\, these talented artists will each create one or two works from wherever they happen to be: here in Leelanau County or far away\, indoors or en Plein Air.  A week later\, each of these unique works will be available for sale here through a virtual\, limited time auction. \nThe starting bid price for each item will be set by the artist\, but there will also be a “buy it now” option on all artwork. So\, it’s important to preview the artwork and shop early. \nBecome a GAAC Circle member by Monday\, July 27 to get in on early-bird bidding an hour before the general public. \nDon’t forget that this is a fundraiser for the Glen Arbor Arts Center\, so bid early\, bid often\, and be part of the party! \nAuction Schedule \nAugust 6 and August 7: You will be able to register here\, preview the auction\, and tag your favorite artwork for later bidding. \nAugust 8\, 4-5p: GAAC Circle members can access early-bird bidding\, including the “buy it now” option. \nAugust 8\, 5-9p: Auction open to the public\, including the “buy it now” option.
