Her travels continued along the Seine River and the towns and countryside of Normandy. Equal parts travelogue and personal meditation\, the book explores her ongoing discovery of what it means to be an artist. Copies of the book will be available for purchase at the reading.

Her paintings translate shadow\, light and vivid color found in nature into landscapes and still-lifes layered with subtlety and depth. Pam earned a BFA in design from Alma College\, and worked for many years in the Chicago area\, including as an instructor at the School of the Art Institute of Chicago. Now a resident of Traverse City\, she is an active participant in the rich local arts community. Light refreshments will be served.
