SUMMARY:Creative Wellness - Exploring Grief Through Creativity
DESCRIPTION:Creative Wellness – Exploring Grief Through Creativity \nHow can a creative practice help one navigate the grief that accompanies the death of a loved one? This topic is explored during Exploring Grief Through Creativity\, the third in a series of retreats hosted by the Glen Arbor Arts Center and focused on increasing wellness through a creative practice. This retreat takes place on Saturday\, March 9\, 2024\, from 9 am – 5 pm at Pine Street Studios\, next door to GAAC in Glen Arbor. The cost is $175 and includes all materials. No art experience necessary. Pre-registration is required as space is limited to 12 participants. The retreat is open to adults ages 26 and older. \nExploring Grief through Creativity provides a supportive\, creative space for adults to examine and process their experience of the death of a loved one. This full-day retreat includes facilitation by a licensed therapist and a day of creative workshops led by teaching artists. SUMMARY:R.O.V. Workshop
DESCRIPTION:Come and learn about the health of the Great Lakes in this fun Workshop presented by Inland Seas Educational Association. They’ll review their Remote Operating Vehicle program which enables underwater research. The ISEA will lead a hands on-exercise to make a functional ROV.
