SUMMARY:Saturday Snowshoe Hikes
DESCRIPTION:Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore will be hosting ranger-led snowshoe hikes every Saturday at 1:00 p.m. from January 7\, 2017 through March 11\, 2017. \nMeet at the visitor center at 9922 Front St. Empire\, MI. If you don’t have your own\, snowshoes will be loaned at no charge. Participants need only purchase the park entrance pass or have an annual pass to join in the fun. Reservations are required whether you need to borrow snowshoes or have your own.  \nRanger-led snowshoe hikes have a limit on the number of participants. Please call 231-326-4700\, extension 5010\, for details and to make reservations.

DESCRIPTION:Warm up your weekend with scrumptious soup and wine pairings along the trail on Saturday\, January 21\, 2017 from 12:00 to 5:00 pm. Experience the magic of our wineries covered in a glistening blanket of snow\, while sipping savory soups\, hearty chilis\, and delicious Pinot Noirs\, Rieslings\, Chardonnays and more. Tickets to this SOUPer event are $20 and include a souvenir wine glass. In addition\, $5 for each ticket sold is being donated the local food banks coordinated by Leelanau Christian Neighbors. Sips & Soups sold out in 2015 and 2016\, so get your tickets right away! (Please note: after your featured food and wine pairing\, standard tasting fees for each winery apply.)
