DESCRIPTION:Grand Rapids artist Holly Sturges takes viewers on a tour of her secret painting places in “Shhh! Don’t Tell\,” new plein air landscapes on view July 10-16 at Center Gallery\, 6023 S. Lake St.\, Glen Arbor. A reception to open the exhibition is 6-8 p.m. \n  \nSturges’s oil paintings focus on iconic Leelanau County subjects: two-tracks and outbuildings in the Sleeping Bear Dunes park\, beaches\, farms and well-known Lake Michigan overlooks. Sturges returns to Leelanau County throughout the year to paint in places she has discovered\, but does not name when she titles her work. \n  \nAn artist’s demonstration is scheduled for July 12\, 1 p.m..
