DESCRIPTION:The Glen Arbor Art Association (GAAA) kicks off its 14th season of artist-in-residence talks May 14\, 7:30 p.m. at the GAAA\, 6031 S. Lake St.\, Glen Arbor. Musician Matthew Tropman\, one of seven artists who will participate in GAAA’s 2015 Artist-in-Residence (AIR) program\, will talk about his residency. \n  \nTropman\, a Michigan native now living in Tucson\, Arizona\, teaches music at the University of Arizona. During his two-week GAAA residency he plans to work on several essays about performance and to practice works from a new repertoire of compositions for his instruments\, tuba and euphonium. \n  \nAs part of the AIR program\, artists are asked to make a public presentation at the end of their residency.
