DESCRIPTION:Contemporary painter E.J. Fitzpatrick is the next “Talk About Art” interview April 30\, 7:30 p.m. at the Glen Arbor Art Association\, 6031 S. Lake St.\, Glen Arbor. \n  \nFitzpatrick marries the intuitive and the planned into a working model for her abstract work. The Northport artist has developed a vocabulary of abstract imagery with which she can talk about a range of intellectual and emotional matters in her paintings. She has exhibited widely around the Midwest\, and as an experienced teacher is able to decipher abstraction for a wide range of listeners. \n  \nTalk About Art is a series of conversational interviews with regional artmakers. It is a winter project of the GAAA and focuses on creative practice\, process and making as experienced by a range of visual and performing artists and craftspeople.
