Readers' Theater Auditions: Scripts Available

The Glen Arbor Art Association [GAAA] Readers’ Theater will hold auditions for two plays by British playwright J.M. Barrie on Wednesday, April 26, 7 p.m. at the Glen Lake Community Reformed Church, 4902 W. MacFarlane Road, Glen Arbor.

Barrie’s plays, The Old Lady Shows Her Medals and The Twelve-Pound Look, are both set in London in the lead up to World War 1, and during World War 1. Characters speak with a variety of British/Cockney and Scottish accents, and there are parts for both men and women. Performances of the plays will be June 2-3 at the church. Copies of the scripts will be available beginning April 17, at the GAAA’s offices, 6654 Western Avenue.
