Documentary film: Hometown Habitat

June 2 @ 7:00 pm - 9:00 pm

In conjunction with the Glen Lake Garden Club, we’re pleased to present this documentary film, which explores the vital role played by native plants in protecting  local ecosystems. The film features renowned entomologist Dr. Douglas Tallamy, whose research, books and lectures sound the alarm about habitat and species loss. Inspiring case studies of community commitment to conservation landscaping illustrate how humans and nature can co-exist with mutual benefits.
