Run to Preserve Historic Buildings and Landscapes in Sleeping Bear Dunes.

Race Organizer: Historic Sleeping Bear Preservation, official nonprofit partner of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore.

Choose your Race: Farmers Flat and Fast 5K, Homesteader’s Hardcore 5K, and Tiller’s 10K. Kid’s Schoolhouse Dash. Walkers welcome. Proud to be a part of Traverse City Track Club’s Grand Prix Series.

Courses wind through beautiful scenery of Sleeping Bear Dunes National Lakeshore’s Port Oneida Rural Historic District. With its historic farms and barns, the district is hailed as “one of the most prized historic landscapes in the country”. Afterward, take a swim on the beautiful beaches just down the road.

Enjoy chip timing, station hydration, unique awards and great edibles! This is a fun community event that draws serious runners, AND those casual runners, walkers and families. Enjoy the park – Families can find a place on the lawn to spread a blanket and enjoy the food and post-run celebration

Location: Port Oneida Farms Heritage Center at the historic Olsen Farm, 3164 Harbor Way (M-22) Glen Arbor, 3 miles north of Glen Arbor, Michigan.

Packet Pick-up: 7-8:15 am. and walk-in registration

Register: $30 by August 1 st. $35 after that. Walk-ons welcome. Click to register: Port OneidaRegistration. Register by July 12th to be guaranteed a T-Shirt.
