Glen Lake Chamber: ARTirondack Chair Campaign 2018

Purchase an Adirondack chair that we will supply.
Find an artist to paint or decorate the chair ~ We can help with connecting you to an artist ~ let your imagination run wild!
Display the chair at your place of business all summer long & direct potential visitors to our online auction site to participate in bidding.

Purpose: The chairs will be auctioned off at the end of the season to raise money for the Glen Lake Chamber of Commerce, a 501c non-profit organization, to further market our beautiful town through beautiful works of art.

How it Works:

• Commit to the Glen Lake ARTirondack Chair Campaign by emailing or calling Katy Wiesen: [email protected]   (231)360.4431

• At that time, please let Katy know if you are going to find an artist or need us to “supply” one for you.

• Deadline for commitments is May 21 st

• Send a check for $125 per chair to the Glen Lake Chamber, PO Box 217, Glen Arbor, MI 49636

• Fee covers: 1 chair, up to $40 worth of supplies for your artist, money towards polyurethane coating that may be completed by a Chamber representative once painted, and marketing of the event.

• Just after Memorial Day Weekend, BLANK chairs will be delivered to participating businesses.

• Completed chairs will be displayed in front of participating businesses from June 16 – Sept 1 with signage explaining the fundraiser and online auction.

• Online E-Bay Bidding will happen August 25-August 31.

• Chairs will be picked up by the winning bidder once the bidding ends.
